Hi, I'm Rob, and this is my slice of the digital pie. I'm currently a 1L at the Syracuse University College of Law. I am also a Special Investigator for an oversight board that was set up by the S.D.N.Y. to monitor one of the largest labor unions in the country for the presence of corruption and organized crime, where I have worked for nearly 14 years.
In a previous life, I directed a digital media agency that helped small businesses and startups grow their revenue through digital advertising & marketing, web design & development, and branding & design. I'm a trained Node & React/Redux and React Native developer. I am also Google AdWords-certified and hold the certification for Facebook Core Advertising.
I helped co-found Itemize.com, as the first employee and Digital Product Management Analyst. I handled product development, strategy and communications.
Prior to that, I worked at multiple public relations agencies, where I assisted a variety of health care clients and some of the world's largest companies adopt social media tools into their communications to engage with their customers and colleagues. My work included developing award-nominated social media initiatives for companies like Pfizer and Nestle.
I graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in American Culture and a minor in U.S. History.
My focus for this blog has evolved, as I have, both professionally and personally. From this point on, you'll find a mix of posts on technology, sports & fitness, and design & culture.
If you want to connect to me through one of my social networking profiles, drop me a line and mention that you saw my blog so I know where you're coming from.
If you see something that interests you, please leave a comment - I'd love to chat!
